R. Christopher Brode, Esq.

Attorney R. Christopher Brode grew up on Long Island just outside of New York City and moved to Meadville, Pennsylvania in September of 1990. He has been practicing law in the Meadville area for nearly 30 years. Prior to entering private practice, Attorney Brode worked in the New York Health and Hospitals Corporation Inspector General’s Office as an investigator. After passing the New York Bar exam and Pennsylvania Bar exam he took a position with Northwestern Legal Service as a staff attorney in the Meadville, PA office from September 1990 through July 1996. In July of 1996 he joined the Disability Law Firm of Brode and Sullivan and in May 2000 started his solo practice and opened his office just off the Diamond in Meadville. Attorney Sara M. Patterson joined the Brode Law Firm in 2007.

Attorney Brode and his wife Wendy have made Meadville, Pennsylvania their home and raised their three children in Meadville, PA. Attorney Brode has been a prior member and president of Seton Catholic School Board, Seton Father’s Guild, Coached both Senior Baseball and American Legion Baseball for a number of years. Attorney Brode’s wife, Wendy of more than 30 years has taught ballet to area youth. Community service and giving one’s self to the community and legal the profession is part of the fabric of Attorney Brode and The Brode Law Firm.

Attorney Brode has focused his practice in the areas of Social Security disability, family law, civil litigation, real estate, will and estates and other areas, construction and criminal law. Attorney Brode has extensive trial experience and appellate experience in both State and Federal Court. The Brode Law Firm represents clients from all different backgrounds and circumstances.
